I'm moving accounts so all my tips will be transfered and revamped

Ok, my first day back is right around the corner, It is literally 3 days away. Now I picked out somethings that are good to keep in your locker
 
{
Lunch money/Wallet - If you are not allowed to carry a little side bag then keep you wallet/money in your locker so it won't fall and get stolen
 
Your cell phone- I know everyone likes to text in class but if you have a strict teacher or you are paranoid your phone will go off then keep it in your locker. Sometimes my teacher lets us have our phones and ipods out if we don't have anything to do but if the principal or another administrator is going class to class, they gives us a warning.
 
If you are busy, a dry erase board- This help you remember what homework you have to do, what books to take home, and when you have a test. Also good if you are in sports and you need to remember games and practices.
 
A mirror- Mirrors that are magnetic are easy to find and good to keep in your locker.

POPULARITY | good & bad reasons:
♥ Popularity is not everything. Do not spend all of high school to be accepted and popular
♥ A lot of people are popular because they are open to talking to new people.
♥ At my school you do not need to have the "look" or be super thin to be popular or well♥ known.
♥ A lot of the popular people are just a big group of friends who are a lot of people know about.
♥ Not all people deemed as popular are rude or mean. A lot are pretty nice.
♥ If you want to be popular, be popular for GOOD reasons.
♥ No can be good at every sport, have perfect grades, and super kind to the point where they don't dislike a thing. No one is perfect, not even the popular kids!
 
CLOTHES | trends & styles
♥ Don't dress half naked, you may get in trouble if a teacher or administator sees you.
♥ Its ok to follow trends like wearing floral and bright colors but do not exactly copy everything someone from school wears, you will look creepy.
♥ Wearing sweats are okay. Everyone does not dress up everyday.
 
BOYS | boyfriends & crushes
♥ Don't be someone to try to get a boy
♥ Don't worry about a boy 24/7
♥ Most boys have not grown up, but on the other hand, a lot of them have.
♥ Rejection and breakups happens to everyone. Lets be realistic, you will be sad but don't get to the point where you skip school because you are sad

CLASSES | schedules & grades
♥ Actually go to classes, this is what you are at school for.
♥ Keep your grades and GPA high
♥ Study. A lot.
♥ Do not fear your teachers
♥ Keep up with assignments

SCHOOL EVENTS | games & dances:
♥ Go to the games and support the players.
♥ Also go to school plays, drama night, and choir concerts. Your friends will appreciate the support.
♥ Don't view spirit week as lame. Go all out for spirit week, its a time to dress silly and have fun.
♥ Go to dance and prom. Even you do not have a date or the best dress in the world, still go and have fun.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY | sports & clubs :
♥ Join clubs that you really love
♥ Joining a sport is not just good for staying in shape but making friends and it doesn't hurt for people to know who ou are ;)
♥ Student council is a great thing to be a part of. Didn't like last years dance or prom? In student council you can pitch in some ideas to make school events fun.
 
UPPERCLASSMEN | seniors & juniors:
♥ Seniors are not going to be shoving you into a locker every 5 seconds
♥ Don't take orders from upperclassmen, just because they are older does not mean they own you.
♥ Everyone has been a freshman so they do understand

{1. Always be prepared.

{2. Try to be nice to everone
 
{3. If you don't like someone just stay away from them

{4. Everyone goes through changes in high school

{5. Not all school lunches are bad

{6. Joining clubs is a great way to make friends

{7. Make a joke once in a while

{8. You will always have an embarassing moment

{9. Don't follow the hype

{10. Be serious about your grades starting freshman year

{11. Keep extra things in your locker in case something goes wrong.

{12. Don't dress like a group of people to be cool

{13. Start on projects the day it is assagined.

{14. If you miss a day, get your makeup homework

{15. Planners aren't lame. There are a lot of cool ones.

{16. Don't let dating occupy your time

{17. You will go through rejection

{18. Attending parties once in a while is not a bad thing
 
{19. Keep your friends from elementary and middle school

{20. The spot you sit at in lunch on te first day will most likely be where you sit for the rest of the year.

{21. Drama is avoidable

{22. Catching up on things at lunch is actually good
 
{23. Not matter what, do what you want and what makes you happy because these ARE the best years.

Never go too big on the first day of school but go bold. First impressions mean a lot. If you start out the year on a great start it can go smoothly in the end

I tried to get photos of the bands I will be listening too but i found something with their names lol. This is not all of them though, I heavily listen to toro y moi during summer

1) Meet new people
2 ) Get straight A's on atleast one report card
3 ) Workout regularly
4 ) Perform at school coffee night
5 ) Go to a party
6 ) Have plans for the weekend
7 ) Run around the school with a friend and take pictures
8 ) Get a couple camera sfrom urban outfitters
9 ) Get my drivers permit
10 ) Get a job permit
11 ) Sign up for art classes for 11 grade
12 ) Sign up to be a teachers aid for 11 grade
13 ) Find people to take pictures of for photography
14 ) Connect with old elemtary school friends
15 ) Write letters to my best friend back home like I did in 8th grade

so glad it is summer and if you think about it, summer just started :D
